Residents in independent living communities, senior assisted living, or retirement communities in League City can protect themselves by using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, keeping devices updated, and being cautious with personal information. Recognizing scam tactics—like urgent emails, fake lottery wins, or suspicious links—can prevent fraud before it happens. Regularly monitoring bank accounts and reporting suspicious activity adds another layer of protection. With awareness and simple precautions, seniors can confidently navigate the digital world while staying secure.
