GREG ROSSI

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Greg joined MRC in 2017, bringing an extensive background in the hospitality industry, including positions with the Hilton North Hotel and Hotel Zaza in Houston as well as the San Luis Resort in Galveston. His experience with hospitality fits well with our mission to provide an engaging and amenity-filled quality of life for our residents. Greg holds a Masters of Business Administration from Florida International University in Miami and a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College.

Jessica Weckel

healthcare Administrator

Jessica joined the MRC Crossings team in 2026 as the Healthcare Administrator overseeing short term rehab, long term care, assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University in 2008, and completed her nursing home administrator training in 2022 at James L. West Dementia Center. Jessica has been serving elders in the East Texas area for the last 4 years with many elders leaving a lasting impression on her. She is passionate about elders living life to the fullest, dementia education, and meeting the needs big and small of the elders, their families, and the employees at MRC The Crossings.

Jessica has a wonderful daughter and brand-new son in law that live in East Texas. When she is not at work, you will find her baking, collecting cookbooks, at the local farmer's market, traveling or just spending time with family and friends.

MELISSA TIPPIT

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

Melissa joined The Crossings team in 2019 as the Human Resources Coordinator. She is a native of the Houston area and has lived in League City since 2013. Melissa graduated from the University of Clear Lake with a BA in Humanities. She has been in Healthcare for ten years, working for UTMB and then Kindred Healthcare in multiple roles, including Human Resources and staffing. Melissa’s favorite part of Human Resources is celebrating employee successes. She looks forward to celebrating the many successes of MRC The Crossings employees.

Natalie Schutz

Director of Nursing

Natalie joined The Crossings team in 2017 and was immediately recognized as a strong leader and clinician. She was promoted from floor nurse to weekend supervisor but it wasn't long before her talents were put to work as the Assisted Director of Nursing. Natalie's enthusiasm and professionalism shines through which is why she was named Director of Nursing in 2020. Since that time, Natalie has lead the team to maintain a 5-Star rating for quality care as well as adopt the Eden Alternative culture to put the elder at the center of decision making and create an environment where the elder is able to continue to grow, despite age.

Julie Crowell

Lifestyles Director

Julie is a long time Galveston County resident and alumni of Bay Area Christian School, located here in League City.  She comes to The Crossings with a Masters Degree in Fitness and Human Performance from University of Houston Clear Lake. She spent her years after Graduate School educating and instructing with the Physical Education and Health department at San Jacinto Junior College. After starting a family of her own, she began a local outdoor fitness company, which offered on-site classes and personal training. She has been able to bring a wide variety of Lifestyle programming and events to The Crossings with her vast knowledge and relationships in League City and the surrounding areas. Julie is a mother to three extremely active children, all who attend Clear Creek ISD schools and participate in variety of local sports and clubs.  She also had the unique opportunity to work in the community her very own Grandmother lived in.

DEBBIE ZIENTY

SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR

Debbie Zienty joined Methodist Retirement Communities in January 2013, bringing to The Crossings many years of administrative marketing support experience. Her creative marketing strategies proved fruitful for her family-owned restaurant, which she and her husband operated as a town favorite from 1986 to 2001, until the family made a decision to move to Texas. As Marketing Director, Debbie enjoys showing off all the wonderful amenities and attributes of The Crossings.  She is great at capturing all of the good things going on at The Crossings and sharing it on social media so that all can see that The Crossings is a community where one can live extremely well.

Jennifer Lines

Senior Living Counselor

Jennifer is a lifelong resident of Houston. She came to The Crossings in 2019 as a Concierge and joined our marketing team in 2020 as a Senior Living Counselor. Jennifer has been serving seniors for over 10 years, and is excited to share with everyone how much she loves being a part of our community.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as watch movies, read books and go on walks with her husband and children.

Wyndy Bickerdyke

Senior Living Counselor

Wyndy serves as a Senior Living Counselor on the marketing team at The Crossings. She began her journey with the community in 2023 as a concierge, where she quickly became a warm and welcoming presence for residents and families. In 2025, she brought her passion for the community to the marketing team, helping guide prospective residents through the decision-making process with care and confidence.

Ally Williams

Social Worker

A Clear Lake native, Ally joined The Crossings team in 2017 as Social Worker. With both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work from Texas State University, Ally brings an incredible amount of passion and expertise to the role. Ally seeks to make a difference, one person at a time, through advocating for the highest quality of life possible. When not at work, you'll find Ally spending time with her adoring husband, daughter, and twin boys.

Steven Martinez

Chaplain

Steven is a Texas native who grew up in Kemah and graduated from Clear Creek High School. He joined The Crossings team as Chaplain in July 2025. Before entering full-time ministry, Steven served as a trombone instrumentalist in the United States Marine Corps Band in Quantico, Virginia, and he currently serves as a Religious Program Specialist in the U.S. Navy Reserves. It was during his military service that he felt a clear calling to chaplaincy—a path that blends his love for people, faith, and service. Steven earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and later completed his Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy at Liberty University’s Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Vineyard Church in Pearland, where he and his family are actively involved in the life of the church. Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, gardening, playing music, and connecting with others over a good cup of coffee.

Allen "Rusty" Mann

Director of Physical Plant

Allen "Rusty" Mann joined the MRC Crossings Team in 2024 as the Director of Physical Plant. Rusty has always enjoyed working with his hands. His passion for woodworking and remodeling reflects his eye for detail and dedication to craftsmanship which is displayed daily at TheCrossings. Above all, Rusty is known for his steady presence, strong values, and love for the people around him.

Rusty has a deep love for football, officiating High School football games for over 34 years, highlighted by officiating a state championship game in 2017. When he's not on the field, he enjoys playing golf and watching football and baseball.

As a proud grandfather of seven amazing grandchildren, including the eldest currently serving in the U.S. Marines, he has built a life rooted in family, community, and service in the Houston area.  Rusty has been happily married to his wife Andrea for 22 wonderful years.  

Michelle Garcia, PT, DPT

Rehabilitation Director

Michelle joined MRC The Crossings in November 2015 and was promoted to Director of Rehabilitation in 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Outside of work, Michelle is happily married and the proud parent of four wonderful children.

Joel Arauz

Director of Dining

Joel joined the MRC Crossings team in 2017 as a Diet Aide. Over the past seven years, he has worked his way up through dedication and leadership - first as a Supervisor, then Assistant Dining Director, and now he serves as the Dining Director.

When not at The Crossings, he is deeply involved in music ministry. Joel is the Music Director at Anchor of Love, a thriving church of over 2,000 members, where he gets to use his passion for music to serve God and connect with people. He loves meeting new people and building relationships that encourage and inspire.

Outside of work and ministry, Joel enjoys working out, trying new foods (though cheeseburgers will always be a favorite), and spending time with family. Growing up with a father who is a pastor has deeply shaped his faith and heart for people.
