MRC The Crossings Retirement Community

All about us.

WHO WE ARE. WHY IT MATTERS.

The picture of what you want is perfectly clear

The Crossings is owned and operated by Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), which serves about 2,500 elders in a typical year in 13 senior living communities, including College Station, Bryan, Huntsville, Lufkin, Texarkana, Fort Worth, La Porte and League City, with a central office in The Woodlands. We serve seniors regardless of their nationality, race, gender, disability or religion — while we are proud of our Methodist heritage, you don’t need to be United Methodist or Christian or religious in any way to live with us. Applications are considered in the order received.

Our Mission.

We honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love.

“NOT-FOR-PROFIT” CAN MEAN A BETTER EXPERIENCE.

The Crossings is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with Methodist Retirement Communities, so all leftover margin is reinvested in improvements, while allowing rate increases to be kept to a minimum. Nonprofit status brings with it a high level of accountability, which translates to a high standard of services, programming, activities, housing and care. In short, as a staff, we’re committed to maintaining The Crossings as the best 5-star senior living community in the Bay Area. We offer the full continuum with the added benefit of Life Care.
